ABSTRACT
In a society where literacy is crucial, many people struggle with reading, which limits
their access to information and opportunities. The need for innovative ways to empower non-
readers is clear. The goal of this project proposal is to create an offline software that will help
non-readers improve their literacy skills, bridging the gap and boosting equality through
technology. Through collaboration with the English teachers and with the help of our
knowledge in Information and Communication Technology, the app will be created using
interactive exercises, audiovisual aids, and adaptive learning techniques to provide different
learning needs. The study hopes that non-readers will improve their reading abilities, gain
confidence, and engage more actively in educational and societal activities. By using
technology to address literacy issues, this initiative projects a future in which non-readers can
access resources on their own, promoting self-improvement and empowerment.
