1. ENGAGE

Good morning, class! Good morning, Sir!

Have you tried entering a dark room? Lyka? Yes Sir.

What did you feel/observe while in the dark room? John I feel scared because it is dark.

What should you do to see objects while in the dark room? I will turn on the light or light up the candle in order to make
the room lighted.

2. EXPLORE

I will be dividing you into three and each of you will perform the
activity.

Norms to be followed:
1. Minimize your noise
2. Keep your workplace clean
3. Cooperate with your group mates
4. Pass your output on time

In group 1, you will need colored paper. You might also


need a rubber bands to secure the paper over the light.

What will happen if we put paper over the flashlight? Will


the light pass through the paper? Will the light change
colors or stay the same?"

In group 2, You have to think and lists down different light


sources as many as you can.
"Where do we get light?" or "When do you notice light the
most?"
What are the light sources you use inside, and outside?

In group 3, Using the match box and a match stick scratch the
head of the match stick on the side of match box. Then,
describe what happens. Record your observation.
