displayed on the wall following a specific pattern.

What would be the shape of the next picture frame?

Since the item of the shape is reapeting, This shows a


reapeting pattern.
The items in the pattern are called terms.
It is easy to predict, what comes next in a given pattern.
In the set of picture frame, the patterns shows 1 circle
framefollowed by 2 square frame then 1 circle frame
followed by a 2 square.

Very good!!!! So, that is what we are saying repeating


pattern.

Repeating pattern is a pattern that repeats themselves


repeatedly according to a certain rule.

Let’s have an activity. We will do it by group again.


Following the same group. I will give each group a
pattern and an envelope. Inside in each envelope
contains cut-outs. Use the cut-outs to complete the
pattern. If you’re done with your work, paste your
pattern on the board.
