our daily lives.

Excellent! Thank you Joana!

that we use for first aid
Perfect! Thank you so much Adrian!
And since you‟ve mentioned about First aid, Tanya
please read the first slide

(student will read the

meaning of First Aid)

Thank you so much Tanya!

So, First aid is the immediate help that you can
perform to someone who is in need. It‟s very
important that it can save lives.
Understand class?
Yes sir!
Any insight or question so far?
None sir!
Very good! Carl, please read the next slide.

(Student will read the slide)

Very good! Thank you! Take your seat

What did you understand about what Carl has read?
Anyone?
(Students will raise their
hands)
Yes, Ivan?

Exactly! Ivan, you are getting better and better keep it

up.
The Roles of first aid are..
1. Bridge- when we say bridge, a first aider will
help both victim and the physician to save
every second. For the victim to be sent to the
hospital is time consuming, same as through
with the arrival of the physician. As the first
aider, we serve as a bridge for the victim to be
sent to the hospital safely.
2. As a first aider, we extend our hands to help
not to compete with the medical
professionals. And from the word “AID”, we
don‟t treat victims, we‟re just helping them to
survive „til the physician will arrive
3. Our job as a first aider ends, when a
physician took over the responsibility to a
victim or patient.
Are we clear on that?
Yes sir!!!
Are there any questions?
None sir!
Now, Leo, will you please read the 3rd slide.

(The student will read the

3rd slide)

Thank you so much Leo! Anyone who can explain that

to the class? (students will raise their
hands)

Yes Aira?
(The student will explain)

Brilliant answer! Thank you so much Aira!

As a first aider the first thing that comes in to our
minds is to save lives. And as bridge, we help to
prolong life. We also help the victim to alleviate
suffering or to help them lessen the pain.
And since we are trained to perform first aid, we
prevent further injury.
Did you get it class?
Yes sir

Any question so far?

None sir!

Very good! I hope that you are learning something,

because this is very important.

Anyone who can read the slide?

(Students will raise their
hands
Yes Jonathan?

(Student will read the slide)

Jonathan please gives us an idea on what you‟ve just
read.
(student will explain)
Very good! Nice insights Jonathan! Thank you so
much!
Another insight?
(student will raise their
hands)
Yes Clarisse?
(Student will explain)

Wow! Precisely! Thank you so much Clarisse!

As first aider, we should always remember that where
there to ease the pain of the victim, not cause more
pain or panic. And you should not show the victim that
you‟re nervous. We should also observe and assess the
victim well, so that when the help has arrived, you can
provide them the things that could help for the victim
to survive. Also it will help you to do what you need
to do on that situation. Since, we are just first aider, we
don‟t usually bring medical equipment that they use in
the Hospital, so you must be resourceful. Use the
things that you can use to save the victim or to
alleviate the suffering of the victim. As what was
aforementioned, do not cause panic, don‟t frighten the
victim. If the victim is blooding, don‟t tell him/her that
he will die or anything that might cause negative
reaction to the victim, Instead let‟s comfort the
victim, reassure the victim that as a first aider, you are
trained to save lives.
Did you get it class?

Yes sir!
Any question?
(student raised his hand)
Yes Micheal?
So, we are going to lie to
the victim?
No, Micheal, we‟re not going to lie to the victim. It
just that, he needs comfort not stress. And we are not
in the position to conclude the real state of the victim.
So, just do your best to save the victim. The physician
will explain to the victim his/her situation after the
treatment of the victim.
Is that clear class?
Yes sir!

Very good! Are there any questions?

None sir!

Are you sure?

Yes sir?
