Session Title: ‘’ MINDFUL CHOICES, HEALTHY FUTURES: NAVIGATING
INFORMED DECISION-MAKING AND RESPONSIBLE SEXUAL
BEHAVIOR’’
Session At the end of the session, the learners will be able to:
Objectives:
A. Understand the importance of informed choices in sexual
situations for personal well-being and healthy relationships
B. Identify the characteristics of responsible sexual behaviors,
including clear communication and respect consent
C. Recognize the potential consequences of uninformed choices and
irresponsible behaviors on physical and emotional health, as well
as interpersonal relationships.

Key Concepts:  Understanding the significance of acquiring accurate information

and knowledge before making decisions in sexual situations.
 Emphasizing the importance of respectful communication,
consent, and mutual consideration in sexual interactions.
 Exploring the potential impacts of uninformed choices and
irresponsible behaviors on physical health, emotional well-being,
and relationships.

III. Teaching Strategies

up  The session kicks off with a fun icebreaker
activity, ‘’The Truths and a Lie,’’ followed by a
discussion starter called ‘’Life’s Crossroads’’,
prompting reflection on past decision-making
experiences. An interactive poll on
‘’Understanding Perspectives’’ encourages
participants to share their initial attitudes,
setting the stage for deeper exploration of
informed choices and responsible sexual behavior

B. Concept 20 mins.  Introduce the lesson by a game entitled ‘’Choice

Exploration Quest.’’
 Participants navigate challenges and make
decisions. Focus on informed choices and
responsible sexual behavior.
 Scenarios prompt discussions on communication,
consent, and respect.
 Encourages reflection and real-life application.

C. Valuing 15 mins.  Emphasize respect for oneself and others through

 informed choices.
 Encourage personal integrity by basing decisions
on accurate information and ethical
consideration.
 Highlight the importance of responsible behaviors
in nurturing healthy relationships and
contributing to a safer community.

D. Journal 15 mins.  Reflect on the importance of informed choices and

responsible sexual behaviors through guided
prompts, fostering personal insights and
understanding.
