CONTENT STANDARD:
The learner gain expertise on different types of software and their importance or
uses.

PERFORMANCE STANDARD:
The learner apply and appreciate the importance of software in computer
hardware servicing..

ESSENTIAL UNDERSTANDING:
1. Through software, an individual can be able acknowledge the importance of
software licensing.
ESSENTIAL QUESTION:
Why it is that we should to consider a licensing software?

LEARNING COMPETENCIES:
The learners should be able to:
1. Identify the types of software and their importance or uses;
2. Use appropriate software suited to user’s need;

FIRST MEETING (Aug. 12, 2019)

Learning Targets:
1. Recall to the class how important to evaluate and control the hazards and
risks.

II. LESSON PROPER (40 minutes)


Activity: Ask the students to identify the methods of controlling hazards and risks
along with their purpose or function. They must be able to differentiate one from
the other.

Checking of homework which was assigned during the previous meeting.

SECOND to FIFTH MEETING ( Aug. 13 -16, 2019)

1. Share thoughts about software;
2. Apply how importance to have licensing software in computer;

The students will sum up the previous topics discussed.

II. LESSON PROPER


A. Explore (20 minutes)
1. Present the essential question.
2. Present the Lesson Objectives.
3. Motivation
Group the class into five and let each group pick one piece of paper
inside the paper box. The choice are the five types of software.
Through group discussion or sharing of ideas on the picked type of
software, the group should make a simple simulation or role playing
depicting the software. Each will be given enough time to prepare
the presentation. The teacher will fic the time for the presentation.

B. Firm-Up (80 minutes)

 Discuss with the students the important features of fundamentals of software.


 Explain and discuss with the students the importance of software in information
and communications technology
 Differentiate the types of software and types of software licensing.
 Demonstrate in class how the types of software work.

C. Deepen (30 minutes)


 Ask the students to demonstrate the different types of licensing software.
 Ask the students the features and types of software.

D. Transfer (50 minutes)


 Let the students research about the different licensing software and demonstrate
it to the class.

E. Summary of the Lesson (10 minutes)


The students will share their ideas about the importance of software.

F. Assignment/Agreement:
1. Instruct the students to provide at least five examples of each type of
software licensing on a sheet of paper. They may use specific products as
examples.
