Introduction
The report supplies detail about my decision about how and why I choose Canada for further
study and to enhance the stage for a transformative educational experience. The factors that
motivated me are the high-quality education system-make the ideal destination for my education
journey, recognition of the country, diversity in culture, professional and personal growth, and so
on. In this report, I will mention reasons for emigration, a detailed description of the move and
the advantage and disadvantages of taking this decision.
Body Paragraph
There are several reasons why I select Canada for my study. The first and foremost reason is
Canada's high-quality education system which appeals to students to move to this country for
their education. Canada ranked fourth in education ranking worldwide (U.S.News & World
Report, 2022) which help me to decide to select this country for further education. In addition, in
international measurements of government transparency, civil liberties, quality of life, economic
freedom, education levels, gender equality, public services, public security, and environmental
sustainability, Canada gains the highest recognition worldwide (International rankings of
Canada, 2023). Another biggest reason to choose Canada for the study is based on the
announcement which is given by Canadian Government regarding immigration, and they
announced that they will accept five lakhs of immigrants each year up to 2025, this news
attracted me and helped me to convince my family for the same.

This paragraph will provide a detailed description of a move to Canada. The first step I took is
completed the English assessment exam name International English Language Testing System
(IELTS) and applied for a student visa in Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada
(IRCC) after getting admission to Conestoga College-Kitchener, Canada. Fortunately, I got it
within 30 days. After that, I did shopping and booked a flight ticket from my home country to
Canada. It was a very crucial moment for me and my family. The date arrived and I took the
flight, it was my first experience to seat inside an airplane. Traveling by airplane for the first time
was a memorable experience. In detail, a mix of excitement and nervousness filled the air, I went
inside the airport, which was Sardar Vallabhbhai International Airport, Ahmedabad. I followed
the airport staff’s guidance to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process of the first immigration in
India.
Furthermore, I entered inside aircraft with curiosity and nervousness. I found my seat with the
help of a cabin crew member, and luckily, I got a window seat. They welcomed passengers with

warm smiles which create a comfortable atmosphere for us. Next, I found one person who also
wanted to go to Canada, finally, I got a company for traveling which gave me some relaxation. It
was around 24 hours of traveling after takeoff. Meantime, I enjoyed the view of the clouds
outside the window, and in-flight services, from meals to entertainment options, which made the
journey enjoyable. Lastly, I arrived at the destination – Lester B. Pearson International Airport –
at Torrento, Canada where I completed my immigration process and collected my study permit.
Then, my cousin came to the airport to receive me, and we went to his home. It was a long
journey, but I enjoyed every moment.

After this journey, I went to Service Canada to take Social Insurance Number (SIN) and then
opened a GIC bank account in scotia bank- Kitchener, Ontario. During this task, I chose public
transportation which was confusing for me to understand. All in all, it was a detailed description
of my move from my home country to Canada.

After taking this decision, I figured out some pros and cons. On the one hand, the advantages of
deciding further study in Canada are several. First, I have a chance to get research and innovation
opportunities in my field which help me to improve my knowledge and vision towards my goals.
Detail learning in the machining field is one of the important goals of my life. Secondly, Canada
provides post-study work opportunities for overseas students which improve career prospects
and guide them to long-term settlement. Apart from high-quality education in Canada, interacting
with peers from different nations and cultures help students in the development of intercultural
competencies. On the other hand, I cannot overlook another side of this decision. The most
challenging part is living far away from family and friends. Students who came from their home
countries and live with strangers in Canada miss their families. I feel that way. In a new nation,
the major problem for students is food, they must make food for themselves and miss the food of
their home countries. Finally, adjusting to a new culture, way of life, and language can be
difficult for international students, and adapting to these different lifestyles take some time in the
initial period.
Conclusion
To Conclude, I think my decision worked out here from one thought of coming to Canada in
mind to live and get an education in one of the well-known colleges. As I mentioned selecting a
country for your good career, Canada is one of them has everything which makes me productive
not only in my study but also in my personal life. I decided that after arriving in Canada I will do
three things, first, I will settle in a house which is near to my college. Second, I will go to
Toronto to watch nigra falls and C.N. Tower. Last, I will find a part-time job for making good
financial condition. As of now, I completed the first thing, but I am still waiting for the second
and third things to be completed soon. For that, I am finding a job on online platforms as well as

Walk-in stores in Kitchener, Ontario. I am sure that I will complete my journey to Toronto within
six months. So, I can say that I am on the way I want in my life.
