Confirmation and Approval to Retain Remuneration
I hereby confirm that I am requesting from my employer,
SNC Lavalin UK Limited- Iraq Branch to retain the
remuneration 100 % of my monthly remuneration as of
September 2023 and for continuing months, until further
written notice from my end to rescind this request to retain
my remuneration.
I further confirm that:
1- This request is initiated by and is at my personal will
without any influence or restraint to my freedom by
my employer to dispose of my remuneration.
2- My request to retain my remuneration does not
constitute delay or negligence from my employer to
pay remuneration within the legal timeframe set by
the Labor Law applicable in Federal Iraq.
3- My employer will not bear any interest or other
charge in relation to my remuneration retained with
them.
4- My employer will continue to withhold statutory
personal income tax and social security contribution
from my remuneration and pay to the relevant
authorities during the retention period.
5- My employer has a period of 14 days to pay my
accrued remuneration upon my request to release.
