Intercultural communication is the exchange of information and ideas between
individuals hailing from diverse cultural backgrounds. It involves recognizing,
appreciating, and navigating the nuances of diverse communication styles, customs, and
expectations. In the context of organizations, successful intercultural communication is
crucial for fostering a positive work environment, promoting collaboration, and achieving
overall success.

II. EXECUTION AND OUTCOMES
WHAT DID YOU DO? EXPLAIN THE SITUATION:
During the Make-up Friday session on March 15, 2024, at Gaas National High School, the teacher
addressed the importance of intercultural communication in the age of globalization. The focus was
on how organizations are evolving into hubs of diversity, uniting individuals with varied cultural
backgrounds, ethnicities, and perspectives. The session emphasized the significance of effective
intercultural communication for fostering collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving capabilities
within organizations.

THE DIFFERENT STRATEGIES EMPLOYED:


Lecture and Discussion: The teacher provided information about the importance of intercultural
communication in organizations, highlighting its relevance in today's globalized world.
Reading Activity: Students were assigned to read about The Importance of Intercultural
Communication in Organizations, promoting reading as an essential tool for learning and
understanding complex concepts.
Group Activities: Students engaged in group discussions and activities to explore and reflect on the
concepts presented, fostering cooperative learning and intercultural awareness.
THE ACTION REACTION OF THE LEARNERS:
The learners actively participated in the session, showing interest and engagement in the topic of
intercultural communication. They listened attentively during the lecture and participated
enthusiastically in group activities and discussions. Students demonstrated a willingness to learn and
an openness to understanding different cultural perspectives, contributing to a positive and inclusive

THE RESULT OF THE DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED:
