5.31.Takes the history from the patient or the relatives on
opening a new file.
5.32.Filling the first part in the first visit record for
geriatric care and collect the demographic and social
information from the patient.
5.33.Takes the vital signs for the patient and registers it.
5.34.Performing the comprehensive screening and the
nursing assessment to assess the health condition of
the geriatric.
5.35.Identifies the at risk cases and register it and inform
the physician responsible for the program.
5.36.Follow up the risk patients and perform home visits
if the case needed.
5.37.Educate the patient on how to use the prescribed
drugs probably and on the proper time.
5.38.Participates with other medical staff in educate the
target group and their families.
5.39.Filling the forms required for the clinic related to the
nursing.
5.40. Performs the monthly and annual statistics and
submits it to the nursing supervisor, and keeps a
copy of it in the clinic.
5.41.Participates in performing the annual plan for the
clinic.
5.42.Identifies the governmental rehabilitation agencies
for patients with special needs and makes a relation
with it to refer the patients to it.
5.43.Arranges the entry of the patients to the physician
according to the serial number.
5.44.Improve the self education by attending the scientific
lectures and seminars on the updates in geriatric care
in the nursing field.
5.45.Cooperates with the other staff in covering the work
5.46. Maintains the clinic clean and Protect the patients
from infection and accident according to infection
control policies.
5.47. Follows up the periodic preventive maintenance of
the equipments in the clinic and keep a record for it.
5.48. Ensures proper waste collection, storage and
disposable using infection control policies in a way
