4.3 Installation of Docking Station

4.3.1 Preparation
Assess the installation site to define whether docking station will be mounted on the table or
positioned on the ground and take the necessary measurements. For portable Robots, a ground
docking is recommended.
4.3.2 Installing Table-Mounted Docking Station
A Docking Station frame with a dedicated should be prepared according to the measurements
taken in advance and installed as an extension to the first table of the row. For seasonal tilt
plants, the supporting structure must consider the tilt variations (similar to the solar panel
supporting structures) to allow movement of the docking station when changing the tilt of the
solar panels.

A charging plate will be installed on the frame of the docking station and on the Robot. When
installing the system, verify that when the Robot returns to the docking station, charging plates
of the Robot and its docking station match to ensure proper charging of the battery.
To ensure the Robot safety, it is recommended to install stoppers at the end of each row (see
Figure 5).
