RESOLUTION NO. 04

“A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 2011-

01 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS ECOLOGICAL WASTE SOLID WASTE
AND MANAGEMENT GOVERNING THE R.A. NO. 9003 IN THIS
BARANGAY MAKAT, COLUMBIO, SULTAN KUDARAT.”

WHEREAS, that under R.A. No. 7160 section 391 provides the power, duties and
function of the Sangguniang Barangay to enact ordinances as may be necessary to
discharge the responsibilities conferred upon it by law or ordinance and to promote
the general welfare of the inhabitants therein;

WHEREAS, the significance of enacted Municipal Ordinance No. 2011-01 in

pursuance of RA 9003 shall ensure proper enforcement of law and mitigation of
environment from hazards, destruction and unpleasant environment due to
deliberate exploitation in an acceptable manner.
WHEREAS, the general gist and real intent of adopting the Municipal Ordinance
No. 2011-01 shall ensure enforcement of law in the exercise of police power to
institute public order, health and public interest as well, consistent with the R.A.
No. 7160 Section 16,

WHEREAS, all provisions or relevant articles applicable for barangay affairs and
its jurisdiction are binding, effective and valid except the collection of fees which
is under the purview of LGU concerned provided that this BLGU has included in
its Local Revenue Code or prescribed fees and charges.

WHEREFORE, upon motion of Kagawad Kahar G. Sapar duly seconded by

unanimously body, it was,

RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED, to adopt the Municipal Ordinance No.

2011-01 otherwise known as ecological solid waste management governing the
R.A. No. 9003in this Barangay Makat, Columbio, Sultan Kudarat.
