I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
a. identify the basic dance steps in 2/4 time signature.
b. demonstrate the basic step pattern in 2/4 time signature.
c. perform the basic dance steps in 2/4 time signature.

B. Motivation
- The teacher play a short clip video of some basic dance steps

 After presenting the short video, the teacher will ask what are those dance
steps they have seen in the video

 The teacher will divide the group into 3
 The teacher will give a step pattern and they will guess what step pattern
it

 The teacher will perform the basic dance steps in 2/4 time signature

c.3 Abstraction
 What is the basic dance steps in 2/4 time signature?
 How can we perform the step pattern of Mincing Step?

c.4 Application
Instructions:
 The teacher will give them basic dance steps in 2/4 time signature and
they will perform it based on the step pattern.
Group 1- Touch Step, Blecking step, Close step, Touch step
Group 2- Slide step, ,Swing step, Cross step, Slide step
Group 3- Hop step, Habanera, Mincing step, Shuffling step

Directions: In 1/4 sheet of paper match the correct pattern of the basic dance
