of Marinduque in the Philippines. The
Moriones or Moryonan tradition has

developing diabetes or high blood
pressure.

3. DINAGYANG (Learner 3)
Is a Religious and cultural festival in
Ilo-Ilo City, Philippines held on the
fourth Sunday of January. It held
both to honor the Sto. Nino and to
celebrate the arrival on Panay of
Malay settler and the subsequent
selling of the island to the by altis.

4. SINULOG (Learner 4)
The FAMOUS FESTIVAL in Cebu
City, is held in every year on the third
Sunday of January. The festival is
characterize by a very long parade
dressed in colorful costumes, finding
their way through the streets while

5. FEAST OF OUR LADY OF (Learner 5)


PENAFRANCIA Celebrated on the third Saturday of
September in Naga City, Bicol. This
feast day is preceded by a novena,
nine-day prayer in honor of the

6. PAHIYAS (Learner 6)
One of the country’s biggest and
most colorful harvest festival every
15th of May, along the harvest
festival of the towns of Tayabas,
Sariaya, Gumaca and Tiaong. This
