Session Title:
Session Objectives: At the end of the session, learners will be able to:
a) describe Myths and Facts related to Puberty and sexuality;
b) identify at least one thing they are excited about and one thing they
are anxious about when it comes to puberty and growing up;

Key Concepts: 1. There are lots of misinformation about puberty and it’s important to
figure out what is a myth or fact.
2. Many adults can help young people with questions they may have
about puberty

Introduction and
5 minutes Perform dance exercise
Warm-Up
Ask learners about what puberty is and its purpose. Take
responses from the learners and make sure that the following is
explained:
“Puberty is the process of growing up from a child into an
adult and includes physical, social, and emotional changes that
a young person experiences over several years”.

Introduce the Myths vs. Fact game by stating the following,


“Often when young people start to go through puberty, they
