Meeting Facilitator: Fhemie Tenedor & JennyBabes Padilla

Meeting Purpose:
The meeting aims to facilitate an introduction and interaction between the applicants and
members of the organization.

Minutes:
Fhemie opened the meeting at 12:04.

I. Roll Call
A. Every participant of the meeting was individually called so that the facilitator
would be able to check whether they are complete. Unfortunately, one of the
applicants for the internship committee was not present. Meanwhile, there were
at least three members who joined the meeting, four to be exact.

II. Presentation of Agenda

A. Fhemie and JennyBabes presented the agenda of the meeting together. These
include:
1. Introduction of applicants and members within the meeting;
 2. An ice breaker activity to be done by the meeting’s participants; and
3. Individual sharing of reason or purpose for joining the organization.

III. Introduction of the Applicants and Members

A. Each participant of the meeting was asked questions introducing themselves to
the group. These include their full name, nickname, field of study, relevant skills,
and current role or position within the UPMMC organization.
1. Most of the participants are BS Mathematics students, but some of them
have BS Computer Science and BS Civil Engineering as their fields of
study.
2. While there were various answers regarding the participants’ relevant
skills, one thing in common among them was they were related to the
participants’ fields of study and their hobbies.

IV. Ice Breaker – 2 Truths, 1 Lie

A. For the group to get to know more about one another, Fhemie and JennyBabes
spearheaded a short ice breaker activity, which is called 2 Truths, 1 Lie. This
activity required each participant to think of two truths and one lie about
themselves, which would later be shared to the group. The other participants
would then try to guess which one of the three is a lie.
1. The activity appeared to have broken the ice among the participants of
the meeting, as they have become more open and spontaneous to share
something on the table.
2. At the start of the activity, the participants could hardly think of things that
they wanted other participants to guess. But during the guessing portion,
many were confused about which one is a lie about a certain participant,
which makes the activity more engaging.

V. Purpose for Joining UPMMC

A. After the ice breaker activity, the facilitators moved on to asking every participant
about their reason/s or purpose/s for joining the organization.
 1. Most of the participants shared that companionship, experience, growth,
and connections were the primary reasons why they joined the
organization.
2. Further, some of them even shared that they wanted to have a place to
sleep, that is the MBAn 109, and that UPMMC sounds cool.

VI. Closing Remarks and Wrap Up

A. After the final sharing, the group was able to obtain key takeaways about each
participant, as one of them was able to take note of the important details about
each of them during the meeting.

Fhemie adjourned the meeting at 12:38.
