Information about the data backup

when update to XP TYPE from NT TYPE

You can backup some user’s information with using next procedure.
1.User’s data list
<You can backup next data>
1-1. IMAGE DATA
1-2. ASI(PRESET PROGRAM of IMAGE PARAMETER)
1-3. PATIENT DATA(involved Dr name)
<You can ’t backup next data>
*You must write down these data before updating, and after updating then must input
these data to machine on your hand.
1-4. ANNOTATION DATA
1-5. CALCULATION DATA

2.Procedure
2-1.IMAGE DATA
With using the external media, backup the data of “D:/us” before updating.
Or move this data to “C:/” drive from “D:/” drive before formatting “D:/” drive.
After formatting the “D:/” drive, move this image data to “D:/”drive inside.

And with using the same method, backup the “C:/us/env/examid.dat” file too.

2-2. ASI(PRESET PROGRAM of IMAGE PARAMETER)

With using the FLOPPY DISK, backup the “c:/us/env/AsiOptimize.dat” file before
updating, and after updating should move to original place.

<Caution>
After updating the S/W Rev.5.1, new settings of DOPPLER and COLOR are
attached in ASI settings. Normally, these settings are default setting.
After copying the settings, you should set the settings in your site.
(Detail information is written in TECHNICAL INFORMATION ZCHI-E02B0011.)

And image parameter was changed for the “Color image of Sector Probe”,
“S011-050U”,”L040-120U”,”L070-075U”.
Detail information is written in TECHNICAL INFORMATION ZCHIE-02B0011.
After backup the ASI data, image become almost same, but not completely.
If user is using these probes, you must confirm the image quality after updating.
 2-3.PATIENT DATA(involved Dr information)
With using the FLOPPY DISK, backup the next files before updating.
“c:/us/env/patient.ini”
“c:/us/env/Doctor.lst”
“c:/us/env/PatientInfo.mdb”
After updating, should move to original place.

<SUPPLEMENT INFORMATION>
For the information of “1-4.ANNOTATION DATA ”,”1-5.CALCULATION DATA ”, you
can’t backup these data when you update to XP-TYPE from NT-TYPE.
(Write down the settings temporary, and input the data on your hand after updating.)
But if you want to use these data for backup in another cases(refer to the SERVICE
TIP “TSUE-02030),you can backup these data.
