-Generous in giving positive reinforcements.
-In terms of the visual aids; the instructional
materials observed the ff: (1) minimal, (2)
thematic, (3) engaging, and (4) new.
-Teacher Mitz was also able to manage her time
wisely. She was able to finish her demo up to the
assessment.
-Uses Power Point presentation, but never depends
on it, which is good.
-The teacher is physically pleasing and kept
smiling throughout the time.
Note:
Overall, the teaching demonstration was executed
well. The teacher was able to create a friendly
atmosphere, and the integration of values was
successful.
-Avoid a long silence (dull moment), while fixing
some technical issues, still think of what to say or
let the students do something while waiting.
-You may use “trans-language” when you speak to
your students.
-Make sure to ask clearer question, and
instructions by rephrasing your statement or
translating it to their language.
-Give enough time for students to respond during
online class, before calling out other students.
-Making bold statements like, “all teachers know
how to handle situations like tsunami.” Since, this
is not the case, not all teachers are trained for this.
-When using a song in your application, make sure
the tune is familiar to your students so they can all
join you in singing. This will also help them to
remember the lyrics more.
