- State clear/concise greetings
Ex. Maganda Umaga! Bago natin
simulan ang klase, tayo muna ay
magdasal/ Magandang, simulan natin
ang klase sa isang panalangin.

also save more time for your lesson.

- Follow the scheduled time in your
class. If your class is 7:00-7:50, do
not adjust to students especially if
majority or almost all of them are
present already. They can just catch
up if they’re late in class.

- Lessen the use of fillers in class. It
can distract your students or they
might find it difficult to understand
what you are saying.
Calling students ‘guys’/ ‘beh’
- Be mindful and be aware that they
are your students and you are the
teacher. It is important maintain your
authority or professionalism in class.

approachable just by calling them by
their name/students/learners.

- Transition sentence. It is better to

make your discussion seamless by
connecting your activities. Ex.
Instead of saying ‘sagutan natin ‘to’
for the next activity you can say
‘dahil alam na natin na mayroong gap
sa bawat henerasyon, alamin naman
natin ano ano nga ba ang tawag sa
henerasyon na iyon sa gawain na ito’

- Use larger text size in the ‘analysis’

part since the instruction can’t be
seen clearly and also has a light
color. The presentation could also be
in full screen so other tabs/elements
can be hidden and be focused on
what is in the presentation.

- Suggestion: You can ask for student’s

personal experience so that they can
relate and understand the lesson
better.

- Asking questions even if the answer
is already in the presentation. Reveal
the answer after the student respond
to your question. Allow them to think
rather that search the answer in the
screen.
- Suggestion: I think it is better if you
provided a table/matrix to show the
difference between generations. The
graphic organizer could be on the last
part to summarize your lesson.
- Allow ample time to answer. The
‘pagsusulit’ part where the students
need to finish by 2 minutes but aside
from multiple choice, there’s also an
essay in the assessment. You can tell
them to finish the activity before your
next session instead of rushing them.
- Use of appropriate terms. It was
mentioned that they need to pass
‘papers’ instead of submitting the
activity online.
- Ended the class around 8pm. Be
mindful of the time. Budget your
time between activity and allow
adjustments. Since you have a partner
for the demo teaching, you can make
the other teacher remind you with the
time left.
