Explicit Teaching/Direct Instruction/Direct Teaching


Definition:
 Teaching focused on producing specific learning outcomes through a
sequence of support provided to learners.
 You don’t make the learners guess what the lesson is, why and how
they should learn it. You let them in on the “BIG SECRET”.
