EXCERPT FROM THE MINUTES OF THE JOINT MEETING OF MUNICIPAL
PEACE AND ORDER COUNCIL (MPOC) and MUNICIPAL ANTI-DRUG ABUSE
COUNCIL (MADAC) OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MAPUN, PROVINCE OF TAWI-
TAWI ON JANUARY 23, 2023 AT MUNICIPAL HALL, BARANGAY LUPA-PULA,
MAPUN, TAWI-TAWI;

ABSENT:

The meeting officially called to order by the presiding officer at 8:55 in the morning.

Opening prayer followed and was led by the Municipal Religious Sector Representative Mr.
Khimal Innguh, then Singing of the Philippine National Anthem and Bangsamoro Hymn (video
presentation) respectively.

All the members of the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and Municipal Anti-Drug
Abuse Council (MADAC) present, Mr. Al-kaluang A. Tawasil, Municipal Local Government
Operations Officer (MLGOO) as the secretariate of both councils made the roll-call and certifies
the presence of a quorum.

The MPOC and MADAC Chairwoman acknowledge and welcome the Members and other
guests in attendance despite of their busy schedules in their own line of work.

In her foregoing statements, expressing he deepest gratitude and appreciation for the support of
all members of the council, she also reminded the members to not hesitate to express their ideas
and propositions in order for the councils to thrive, in her own word “The Development of the
Municipality cannot be obtained without the help of other line agencies” she added “Huwag po
kayong mag sawang alalayan kami (Mapun Municipality) para maibigay namin ang serbisyong
nararapat sa taong bayan”.

First Agenda was about the Formulation of the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and
Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) Plan of Action for Fiscal Year 2023. The
podium was given to the Council’s Secretary and presented the specifications (please see
attached Plans of Actions 2023 of both Councils).

With all the members agreed on the proposed Plan of Actions for Fiscal Year 2023, the
Chairman spoke and reminded the body that she needed everyone’s help in order for the
approved plan of actions be executed.

Second Agenda was the presentation of the Accomplishment for 4 th Quarter of 2022 (previous
year). Every PPAs has been executed in accordance with the law.
Third Agenda was about issues being raised by the PNP-Chief of Police about the preparation for
the proposed Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) in which the members
gave their assurance on the support of the said program.

Before the adjournment, the council’s secretary informs the Members of the Next Joint Meeting
of MPOC and MADAC which was scheduled on April 10, 2023 same venue and same time.

The meeting was adjourned at exactly 11:10 in the morning.

First Agenda was the presentation of 1st Quarter Accomplishment and Status, the secretary
presented that as of today, ALL MPOC and MADAC PPAs are in full force of implementation.

The Municipal Mayor requested all MPOC and MADAC members to continue working
consistently and efficiently.

Second Agenda was Monitoring and Evaluation of MPOC and MADAC PPAs for 1 st quarter of
2023. The Chairwoman highlighted the importance of monitoring and evaluation of all PPAs to
ensure smooth operation of the council. She also added that the Local Government Unit of
Mapun cannot function efficiently without the expertise of every MPOC and MADAC Members.

Before the adjournment, the council’s secretary informs the Members of the Next Joint Meeting
of MPOC and MADAC which was scheduled on July 10, 2023 same venue and same time.

The meeting was adjourned at exactly 11:30 in the morning.
