Good morning, class!

Good morning Ms. Corpuz

Now, may I know who’s absent

today?
Everyone: None ma’am.
That’s great!

Are you ready to learn our new

lesson today, class?

Everyone: Yes Ma’am!

So, Lets have an activity first, are

you ready?

Everyone: “Yes Ma’am!

Motivation Activity:

Students will be given ten minutes

to write an essay that they believe

readers.

B. Writing Proper
Presentation Okay, class, time’s up! I will be
calling one student in each row to
present their work in front.

Let’s begin! Ms. Policarpio, would

you mind reading your essay for
us?
Policarpio: Recycling is a
simple and practical
approach to help the
environment. It conserves
valuable natural assets such
as paper, glass, and
aluminum, lowering the
demand for raw materials
while also protecting
ecosystems and wildlife.
Recycling also saves energy,
with aluminum recycling
alone saving up to 95% of the
energy used in manufacture.
It also reduces garbage in
landfills, thus decreasing
harmful emissions and
environmental issues.
Moreover, recycling offers
economic benefits, such as
job creation and economic
growth in local communities.
Communities raise cash for
public services by selling
recyclable materials.
Recycling is an equitable
approach that benefits both
people and the environment,
and it is a step toward a more

essay, then, focuses on how

quality of life. Excellent, really
informative!

Mr. Talon will be the next. Let's

have a moment to listen to what
he has come up with.

Talon: Love is a universal

emotion that has no bounds
and transcends gender limits.
Regardless of gender
identity, it is a force that
unites people based on their
profound connections,
feelings, and affections. The
beauty of love is that it may
grow in the absence of bias
or discrimination, creating
bonds based on feelings of
empathy, respect, and
compassion for one another.
Love knows no bounds when
it comes to matters of the
heart, and the idea that love
is genderless has become an
influential call for embracing
oneself, equality, and the

informative essay it is. Very good!

And for the last one, let's hear

from Ms. Emata.

Emata: Plastic pollution is a

significant environmental
issue, causing millions of tons
of waste to enter oceans and
ecosystems, endangering
wildlife and contaminating
water supplies. Disposal is
challenging due to plastic's
durability, and microplastics

performance.
Everyone: Thank you,
ma’am!
Discussion Now let us start our proper
discussion for today’s lesson
which is Writing an Informative
Essay.

Kindly read the first slide, Ms.

Sanchez. (Ms. Sanchez reading the
first slide in the PPT.)

Thank you so much, Ms.

Sanchez!

So, when we say informative

essay, we mean a written article
that is intended to give the
audience with useful information
or explanations on a specific
topic.

We can immediately comprehend

and understand what an
informative essay is because of
its root term "informative," which
means to supply the readers with
further knowledge and answers to
specific questions.

May I ask Mr. Monteclaro to read

the second slide?
(Mr. Monteclaro reading the
second slide in the PPT.)

As mentioned in the presentation,

an informative essay does not
only pertain to using a specific
subject, commonly English. Mr. Sison: I have a question
ma’am: how can we apply or
make an informative essay
when it comes to science,
math and history?

When it comes to mathematics,

we can write an informative
essay. For example, we are trying
to create and clarify a particular
formula for a particular problem.
My example in science is similar
to when we are writing an essay
on a subject like biology,
chemistry, or climate change, etc.
Last but not the least, when it
comes to history, this is
demonstrated by the articles we
create that give us students
greater knowledge and
understanding about the lessons
we are learning, such as
prehistoric civilizations, lifestyles,
and beliefs.

Informative essays are intended

to educate readers. So, while
we're attempting to teach
someone like me to you as my
students, for you to study
efficiently and successfully, I must
supply you with factual, credible,
and well-researched knowledge.

Did you understand what I said,

class?
Everyone: Yes ma’am!

Now, let's look at the three

different ways an informative
essay might be written.

Will you please read it for us, Ms.

Perez?

(Ms. Perez reading the third

slide in the PPT.)

So, here are three ways on how

can informative essay can be
constructed. Class can you
enumerate them again?

Everyone: Chronological
Order, Cause and Effect, and
Main Idea and Supporting
Alright! Let’s talk about the first Details.
one which is the Chronological
Order.

Please read the PowerPoint

presentation slide for us, Ms.
Tabayoyong.

Ms. Tabayoyong reading the

current slide in the PPT.)

Thank you for reading Ms.

Tabayoyong.

In chronological order informative

essays, it usually provides works
that follows timelines or sequence
of events. Example of these are
essays about; progression and
development. It also provides a
step-by-step information just like
in cook books. It lists down
everything from the ingredients,
how to cook it, and up to the
duration of time you’ll have to
cook the dish.

Next is the Cause and Effect. Ms.

Gaviola please read.

(Ms. Gaviola reading the

PPT.)

Alright! Thank you for reading Ms.

Gaviola. You may take your seat.

Okay class, this type of essay

shows the relationship of a certain
topic or information and how it will
result. It will provide and teach
learners how to think critically and
wisely especially when it comes
to decision making. It does not
only develop the writing skills of a
student but will also foster their
data analysis and problem-solving
abilities.
Are you still with me, class?

If yes, why don’t we stand up. Everyone: Yes ma’am!

Shake our body, jump two times,
clap three times, and shout YES!

Alright! Thank you for your (Everyone stands, jumped,

cooperation. You may now take clapped and shouted)
your seats.

And now, we have the last one

which is the Main Idea Supporting
Details.

Mr.Hipolito, please read the PPT

slide. Thank you.

(Mr. Hipolito reading the PPT)

Well class, this one is the most

common to which the students
use whenever they’re
constructing essays. Since most
of the people likes to connects
things together, for instance you
have the main idea and then later
on you will have sub-ideas that
support the first and main idea
you have. By that, we are able to
make an informative essay easily
with this method.

And that’s all for our discussion

about Writing an Informative
Essay.

Have you learned from me today

class?

Everyone: Yes, ma’am.

Any clarifications, class?

That’s great! I would like to thank Everyone: None ma’am.

you all for your active participation
with me in this lesson.

Analysis Since we are already done

discussing how to write an
informative essay, I would like to
give you an activity.

Choose one from the three ways

on how to write an informative
essay, and make an essay with a
minimum of (8) eight sentences to
be finished within (20) twenty
minutes.

Any questions? If none, you may

start now.

Generalization At this point, we're going to

assess how much you truly
absorbed from the lesson today.

Ms. Mercado, can you tell me

what is an informative essay?
Ms. Mercado: Ma’am, this is
an essay that provides
information that can be an
answer or an explanation.

Very good! Ms. Mercado. How

about Mr. Batumbakal, will you
enumerate the three ways I
mentioned on how to write an
Informative Essay?
Mr. Batumbakal: Sure ma’am!
We have, Chronological
Order, Cause & Effect, and
Main Ideas and Supporting
Details.
That’s amazing! Mr. Batumbakal.

Last question: which of the three

ways I taught is the most common
in how students write an
informative essay, Ms.
