Mechanics and Criteria for the POSTER MAKING CONTEST

28 November 2022, 12:00NN - 1:00PM

MECHANICS:
1. Each group shall consist of 6 ESP student and 1 adviser.
2. Each group shall submit 1 entry.
3. The poster must illustrate, interpret and emphasize the theme
4. All artworks must be done on the spot and must be completed within the allotted time (1) hour.
5.The poster must be done in free hand using the following materials
(to be provided by contestant):
1 whole white cartolina
Pencil
oil pastel / Crayons / colored pencil or any kind of coloring materials
marker (etc.)
6. The theme for the poster making shall be: “Halagahan ang Puso ng Pagka-Pilipino”
7. All entries must be pre-numbered.
No other identifying marks will be allowed to appear in the artworks.
8. All entries shall be judged by a Board of Judges
9. The entries will be judged according to the following criteria:
CREATIVITY/PRESENTATION 40%
ORIGINALITY 30%
RELEVANCE TO THEME 30%
10. There will be three winners, 2 Runner Up, 1st Runner Up and Champion

Mechanics and Criteria for the SLOGAN MAKING CONTEST

1. The contest is open to all students.

2. Each class should submit one representative with one entry only.
3. The poster must illustrate, interpret and emphasize the theme:
“Halagahan ang Puso ng Pagka-Pilipino”
4. All artworks must be done on the spot and must be completed within the allotted time (1) hour.
5. The slogan must be done in free hand using the following materials
(to be provided by contestant):
1/8 illustration board
Pencil
oil pastel / Crayons / colored pencil or any kind of coloring materials
marker (etc.)
6. The theme for the slogan making shall be: “Halagahan ang Puso ng Pagka-Pilipino”
7. All entries must be pre-numbered.
No other identifying marks will be allowed to appear in the artworks.
8. All entries shall be judged by a Board of Judges
9. The entries will be judged according to the following criteria:

Relevance to the Theme 40%

Clarity of the Message 20%
Creativity 15%
Originality 15%
Impact and Presentation 10%

10. There will be three winners, 2nd Runner Up, 1st Runner Up and Champion.

Mechanics and Criteria for the POEM MAKING CONTEST

1. There will be at least one (1) participant per section.

2. Each entry will be identified through number codes, No other identifying marks will be allowed
to appear
3. Participant will provide the necessary writing materials, such as ball pen and paper.
4. No one is allowed to go out of the room while the contest is still going on.
The use of cellular phones during the contest proper is not admissible.
5. Poems must have consonance with the theme, “Halagahan ang Puso ng Pagka-Pilipino”
6. Poems may be written in English or Tagalog.
Titles must be consistent with the language chosen to be used.
7. Entries must only have 3-6 stanzas, and there is no word limit in each line.
8. All entries shall be judged by a Board of Judges
9. The entries will be judged according to the following criteria:
Relevance to the Theme, Message 20%
Content and Writing Conventions 30%
Creativity and Style 30%
Originality 20%
10. There will be three winners, 2nd Runner Up, 1st Runner Up and Champion.

Mechanics and Criteria for the RECYCLING CONTEST

1. Each group shall consist of 2 students.

2. Each group shall submit 1 entry.

3. Each entry will be identified through number codes, no other identifying marks will be allowed
to appear.

4. Participants will provide the necessary art materials.

5. Create items that are functional like furniture, home decor or any output that is useful made out o
of recycled materials.

6. All entries shall be judged by a Board of Judges

7. The entries will be judged according to the following criteria:

Creativity 40%
Originality 20%
Sustainability 15%
Durability 15%
8. There will be three winners, 2nd Runner Up, 1st Runner Up and Champion.
