Dear Sir,
With reference to the subject cited above Jit is to state
that, the Structural
Desiga/Drawings of 2125 MLD WTP component (Bypass Channel and
Chemical House) submitted vide Iletter under reference
for execution of
aforementioned have been reviewed and following observations
have been made.
Bypass Channel of 21,25 MLD WTP
1. In SBC report at 1.5mt depth of foundation the NSBC
is recommended as 9.97T/n"2,
but in design document the same is considered as
1T/m"2 due to poor soil strata .
Hence, the depth of foundation may be revised
to 2m instead of 1.5m.
2. Live load on walkway shall be 3kN/m2 instead of
1.5kN/m2.
3. 88 handrailing load shall be considered in STAAD.
4. Weight of water on the slab is to be considered in design
calculation.

Chemical House
1. Depth of foundation shall be 2m below NGL instead
of 1.5m as provided in design
document,
2. Footing design calculation shall be corrected
in design document considering
combined or isolated footing as per structural requirement
,
3. Door size shall be recommended 1200 X 2100mm
instead of 1000 X 2100mm in the
drawing.
4. In Plinth beam PB1 to PBS the top reinforcement
shall be revised to 4-T16 instead of
3-T16.
5. In Plinth beam PB19 to PB21 the top reinforcement
shall be revised to 4-T16 instead
of 3-T16.
6. In Plinth beam PB27 to PB29 the top reinforcement
shal! be revised to 4-T16 instead
of 3-T16.
7. Infirst floor lintel beamn B1, B2, B3, B4, B14,
B15 & B16 the top reinforcement shall
be revised to 4-T16 instead of 3-T186,
8. Inwalk way slab 150mm thickness shall be
marked in the drawing sheet no 13 of 13,
9. The supporting structure of water tank is to
be provided ,
