AFFIDAVIT

We, PAT JOVELYN R PORTACIO and PAT BRYAN T QUINTANA,

Filipino, both of legal age and members of the Philippine National Police presently
assigned at Head Quarters Support Service, hereby depose and state that:

1. We admit that we are the same persons appearing on the CCTV eating
ice cream while on duty as Security Sentinels at Gate 3 on February
13, 2024, at around 10:00 A.M.

2. At that moment, we were trying to be discreet in consuming the said

ice cream to avoid the said act in impeding our performance during
the tour of duty. We immediately consumed the same as much as we
could without allowing others to see the both of us in that situation
except in one instance as shown on the CCTV Footage.

3. We acknowledge our failure to realize that our acts will constitute

simple misconduct under the existing rules and regulations of the PNP
and that we will not allow ourselves to commit the same and other
relative acts that will jeopardize the image of the PNP as a whole.
This incident will serve as a lesson for us to be better in the
performance of our duty.

4. We did not intend to disregard in any manner the mandate, order, or

instruction coming from the higher office nor disobey the same and
will conduct ourselves accordingly in the future as well as comply
with utmost diligence our mandate in the performance of our duties.
