Introduction to assessment sheets

The My Disney Stars and Friends assessment sheets allow you to track your students’
progress through the course by grading their achievement against three different sets of
criteria:

• main GSE Learning Objective for each lesson of the unit

• listening, speaking, vocabulary and grammar skills across each unit as a whole
• the three Future Skills of self-awareness, social awareness, and persistence and
growth across each unit as a whole
You can grade your students on the following three-star scale, and share the completed
sheets with your students’ parents or carers – should you wish – on a unit-by-unit, termly, or
annual basis:

• three stars: student has mastered this area

• two stars: student is developing well in this area
• one star: student needs support to improve in this area
