7. When the concrete adequately sets, Hessian sacking will be placed on the
concrete and soaked to facilitate curing. The curing should commence as soon
as possible after the pour to prevent drying shrinkage cracks, an approved
curing agent may be applied.
8. All construction and expansion joints will then be sealed with an approved
sealant.
13.00 Formwork 1. Not less than 48hours after placing the concrete, the formwork will be stripped.
2. Curing will continue using Hessian sacks and/or an approved curing agent.
