SAFETY CONTROL MEASURES
• Tool Box Talks includes the proper wearing and correct use of the Full Body Safety Harness.
• Pre-training of how to use a double lanyard, and ensuring the 100% tie-off
• Provide Full Body Safety Harness with double lanyards (color coded) for all erectors
• Only a trained/experienced person is allowed to do the task
• All work required supervision
• Restriction (close barricades) of the working area,
• warning signs “DANGER” Crane Lifting
• PPE shall be worn all time
• All materials and tools to be used at heights shall be properly secure and tied off
• Ensure that the electrical supply box is locked and power is turned off.
• An only qualified electrician is approved to do the task
• Ensure all electrical connections are waterproof and heavy insulated

Perform a last minute risk assessment before performing any material handling task.
Make sure to check the path of travel for any obstacles before moving any materials.
Perform a proper warm up and stretch before performing any material handling task.
The PPE required for any material handling tasks are: Safety glasses, appropriate gloves and
appropriate non slip footwear. Additional PPE may be required depending upon environment
conditions.
