SAFETY CONTROL MEASURES

• Use Approved crane with inspection


• Use Approved Trailer truck / low bed
• Ensure material fasten with approved chain or binder slings
• Signboard/warning tapes should be attached in extended materials

• Ensure the is planned to be carried out using strong truck


• Ensure that all technical data is available at the truck
• Ensure that counterweight values are correct.

• Good communication between the transporter and the site receiver

Perform a last minute risk assessment before performing any material handling task.

Make sure to check the path of travel for any obstacles before moving any materials.

Perform a proper warm up and stretch before performing any material handling task.
The PPE required for any material handling tasks are: Safety glasses, appropriate gloves and
appropriate non slip footwear. Additional PPE may be required depending upon environment
conditions.
