Join the yarn with a sl st to st #6 of the rnd
#5 (as shown in the picture).
Repeat from rnd # 6 to rnd # 14, 4 times.
Once you have crocheted the second
panel, place the two panels one above the
other, matching up all sides.
Sew the panels together: join the yarn
through the two panels with a sl st, chain 1
and single crochet around the edges. Work
3 sc in the st at the top of each star’s leg.
Stuff lightly as you sew the two panels
together.
Make little french knots (with off white
yarn) on one side of the sea star across
the length of each leg (see photos).
