BHA’s supported by the program
These are the BHA
configurations which
can be used for
analysis:

[XOver] = change in
stiffness.

[Stb] – [Pad] –
[Bend] – [XOver] are
all optional.
BHA Analysis
1. A review of offset well information
for the same field and operator is
required. If this information is not
available, then the BHA will have
to be “built’. This can be done
using Planit records or creating a
new BHA in the BHA builder.

2. Planit records are acquired by

clicking the yellow button on the
Drill Records menu bar and then
selecting all the modules and
highlighting the BHA’s. Hold the
‘control key’ down and click on all
BHA’s to select more than one.

• Finally press “Transfer Data”

BHA Analysis
4. This opens the Planit BHA
analysis. Select one of the
BHA’s or create a new one
using the “New Case” button

5. Planit also has an excellent

“Help” menu.

6. After the BHA is selected, it

will display the assembly
details, which need to be
checked, to ensure all of the
component dimensions are
correct.
