TRUCKING PROCEDURE
TRUCK DRIVERS BRIEFING.

THE TRUCK DRIVERS WILL BE BRIEFED BEFORE STARTING THE MOVE ( TOOL BOX MEETING)
AT THE START OF THE DAY, OR WHEN REQUIRED.
THE BRIEFING INCLUDES:
(1) THE BACK GROUND OF THE RIG MOVE.
(2) NUMBER OF LOADS AND TYPES.
(3) TIME PLANNING.
(4) ROAD SAFETY POLICY AND GENERAL SAFETY RULES.
(5) TRAFFIC OFFICERS ( TRUCK PUSHER ) POSITION.
(6) OVERHEAD POWER LINES.
CHECK LIST
HIRED CRANES WILL BE INSPECTED BY MECHANIC AND MIC.
THE TRUCKS WILL BE CHECKED BY THE TOOL PUSHER OR HIS DESIGNATE
AND THE SAFETY OFFICER WHEN THEY ARRIVE ON LOCATION.
THE FORMAT FOR THE CHECKS IS ATTACHED WHEN ACCEPTABLE THE TRUCK WILL BE LOADED.
RECORDING LOADS VERSUS TRUCKS

THE TOOL PUSHER WILL NOMINATE WARE HOUSE MAN TO RECORD THE LOAD AGAINST THE TRUCK,
SUCH THAT, AT THE END OF THE DAY, A GOOD RECORD OF THE WORK DONE CAN BE PRODUCED,
WHICH WILL BE USED FOR UPDATING RIG MOVE PLANNING.
THE TRUCK PUSHER RESPONSIBILITY.
THE TRUCK PUSHER WILL STOP TRUCKS AWAY FROM THE HEAVY WORK AREA. THE DRIVER SHALL
CHECK THE BINDING OF THE LOADS ONCE AGAIN THEN FOLLOW THE TRUCK PUSHER'S
COMMAND.
