1. Site location

CQU Campus B
• Chongqing University (CQU) is a key national university in
China, directly under the State Ministry of Education.
CQU is located in Shapingba District, a cultural and
educational center in the city of Chongqing.

• Our site belongs to the building of architecture which is


one of the earliest schools to establish architecture
education in China. Its history can be traced back to 1937.

3. Connection and movements

There are three main access to the site , one is to &from the
tunnel or campus B gate and one access for those coming
from the hospital. And there is an important access for
architecture students cafe .

The concept
Throughout the public realm, the design captures moments of a bird in flight, a flutter of wings and
feathers, colours infused into the elements. A sweeping language of the Phoenix unifies public space,
while the dra-matic local natural rock forest formations of Wuhan have inspired the form and character of
the bespoke pre-cast active edges that frame the perimeter development.
