small or large family? Which is better for you?

family is fun and interesting because we can have plenty of brothers
and sisters who we can play and discuss things with and we can
support each other. In this essay, I will discuss the main differences

Advantages + disadvantages

 There are plenty of advantages in growing up in a small family. First

of all, we don’t have to share things. For example, we can eat
everything we want and spend as much pocket money as we want
since we are the only children. Besides, we get full attention from our
parents and they look after us very well. A good example is when you
are ill. Your parents will stay by your side all night long.
Furthermore, we don’t have to worry about money because there’re
very few children for our parents to look after. However, there are a
number of disadvantages too. Firstly, we may feel bored since we
have no brothers and sisters to play with. Secondly, our parents may
overprotect us to make us feel suffocated. The worst thing is that
when we grow older, we have full responsibility to look after our
parents. It may make our life difficult.

Growing up in a large family

 Growing up in a large family is fun because we have brothers and

sisters to play with and help and support each other. Apart from that,
we can share the responsibilities. For instance, if our parents are ill,
we can turn turns to look after them. There are also some drawbacks
such as arguing and fighting with each other. We may sometimes feel
that we don’t have enough especially in sharing food, pocket money
or even space in the house.

Conclusion
(Summary + Opinion)
 To summarize, there are two sides to every issue and so there are both
benefits and drawbacks in growing up in a large or small family. In
my opinion, I prefer having brothers and sisters around me and I feel
that it is worth making sacrifices for all the fun I can have with my
siblings. We may fight and argue sometimes but life is more
interesting if we have close relatives to share our happiness with.
