The BRIGADA PAGBASA Program DepEd signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with World Vision Development Foundation (WVDF) in 2019 for the Brigada Pagbasa program. The BRIGADA PAGBASA Program is a national movement for reading that aims to bring together all education champions and supporters to contribute to nation building by helping all Filipino children of partnership. This is to support the DepEd’s goal to provide children quality education.

ACTIVITIES 1. Collaborate with DepEd at school level to secure list of struggling readers and nonreaders per grade level. 2. Coordinate with LGU and DepEd in mapping the location of struggling readers and nonreaders. 3. Collaborate with DepEd and LGUs on mapping of community volunteers (student teachers, PTA officers, Church Partners, etc.) to be equipped on teaching beginning reading and handling remediation classes for Brigada Pagbasa roll out.
