SURFACE AREA

Surface Area is important for many jobs :


Painters need to know how much paint is needed for a job.
Packaging company need to know how much paper is needed
to wrap gifts.
Engineers, Designers, Scientists, Builders, Carpet Layers
and others also use surface area as part of their work.

Curved Surface Area = 2rh

Surface Area = 2rh + 2r2
