OBJECTIVES:

1. To determine the factors that influences the students in conducting

printed modular learning in Grade 6 students of Lucena Central
Elementary School.
2. To analyze the best and the least advantages and disadvantages of
printed modular learning to the Grade 6 students of Lucena Central
Elementary School; and
3. To evaluate the most preferred type of learning, if face- to –face learning
or printed modular learning on the students in Grade 6 students of Lucena
Central Elementary School.

learning modality in the academic performance of Grade
Six students of Lucena Central Elementary School.

4
CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK
The purpose of the study is to determine the effects of using modular
distance learning modality on the academic performance of grade six students
of Lucena Central Elementary School. There are two variables to be
determine , the independent variables are the extent of the using modular
distance learning modality that includes distribution- retrieval process of the
module, focus in the answering the module , geographical settings, and parents
participation and the dependent variable is Academic Achievement. These
variables have being identified because the researcher hopes that by analyzing
these variables can reveal about the effects of using modular distance learning
modality on the academic performance of grade six students.

5
Methodology

It consists of the research design, locale of the

study, sampling design, research instrument , data
gathering procedure, scoring and qualification of
data and statistical treatment.

6
Expected Output

Relevant results on the academic benefits ,

effectiveness, advantages and disadvantages of
printed modular learning to the Grade 6 students of
Lucena Central Elementary School.
