What is more important – being original or being able to follow

instructions well ?

It’s a mixture of both things. At the beginning, you need to pay attention
to instructions in order not to make mistakes. It is important for us to be
able to follow instructions so that we can function effectively across
different environments.
But when moving to the next step of study, it’s time to promote your
ability and you need to think originally as much as u can.
