Statement of the Problem
The study specifically seeks to answer the following questions:

1. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of:

• 1.1. major,

• 1.2. gender,

• 1.3. digital access?


1. What is the performance of the respondents when taught using the

online and on-site modes of learning?

3. Is there a significant difference in the performance of the respondents

when grouped according to their profile?

4. Is there a significant difference in the performances of the

respondents when taught using online or on-site modes of learning?

Research Hypothesis

 There is no significant difference in the student performance when

grouped according to their profile.

 There is no significant difference in the students’ performance when

taught online or on-site learning modes.


Scope and Delimitation of the Study

 This proposed study will be conducted during the first


semester of the academic year 2022 – 2023.
 It will be limited to the freshmen from the four colleges
of the Cagayan State University Piat Campus.

Respondents of the Study
 Freshmen students from the four colleges of Cagayan State

University-Piat Campus.

 Diagnostic Tests
 Evaluation
Data Gathering Procedures

Step 1: Seek approval from the college deans for the conduct of the
study.

Step 2: Request the GEC teacher to deliver the prepared lesson.

Step 3: Administer diagnostic test to divide the classes.

Step 4: The GEC teacher will deliver the prepared lesson.

Step 5: Administer the delivered lesson’s evaluation part.
