ICT AND THE

FUTURE OF
HEALTH CARE:
ASPECTS OF
HEALTH
PROMOTION
GROUP 3
/RATIONALE:
ICT allows students to monitor and manage their own learning, think critically and
creatively, solve simulated real-world problems, work collaboratively, engage in
ethical decision-making, and adopt a global perspective towards issues and ideas.
Both teachers are students are looking at social media as a tool to engage, support,
and connect students, teachers, and institutions. The contribution of ICT to
individuals and institutions is undeniably big. However, there are significant risks
associated with its increased usage. The effects of technology on children and
teens can have an impact on social skills, their development and can be linked to a
number of other subsequent factors. Specifically, screen time and social media use
among kids, teens, and adults have been linked with an increased prevalence of
mental health concerns. Higher levels of screen use in children and adolescents is
associated with reduced physical activity, increased risk of depression, and lower
well-being. This study focuses on the prevention of health issues related to ICT
equipment..
/OBJECTIVES

• To think safe, work safe, be safe; so that users such as learners would
been courage to monitor of their own health risk upon using ICT as a tool
of e-learning education.
• Give students tools and services to manage their mental health
• Promoting quality family time, active life, health-friendly lifestyle and
well-being.
• To promote outdoor and physical activities to reduce the use less of
technology.
• To develop a responsible user, self awarenes and to be self disciplined on
using technology.
PROJECT
S
PROJECT 01:
Engaging in Physical Activity
The increased use of technology affects students' and teachers' health
behaviors, including physical activity. To help them, we propose this
project, Engaging in Physical Activity. Physical education programs will be
implemented at the school for both students and teachers. Physical
activities like basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc. This aims to maintain
their fitness, reduce their depression and anxiety symptoms, and use less
technology.
PROJECT 02: Raising awareness to modify Health
Risk that are Associated with using Information
Communications Technology (ICT)
This project aims to ubiquitous type of machine in today' s work and learning
environments, the issue of ergonomically sound interaction with them has come to the fore
to our learners and educators. The goal of this project is to conduct a more safe and clean
computers that is quiet and safe to use in daily learning. However, this poor interaction
with and positioning of computer equipment can lead to health problems such as eyestrain,
swollen wrists and backache to our learners, so, with this project it would be avoided by
good workplace design and by good working practices. And eventually prevention is
easiest if action is taken early through effective analysis of each workstation.
PROJECT 03:
Active Life and Well-Being Project
The project implements the various solutions into a common smart city
ecosystem and focus on three key domains of a city for the future: Health,
active lifestyles and mobility. In which we aim to develop approaches and
prototype solutions to provide ICT support for the family in order to connect
its members, communicate, promote quality family time, active life, health
friendly lifestyle and well-being. They will be able to have health care at a
reduced cost, educate by health professionals and stimulate a different sort of
interaction with their society.
PROJECT 04:
Aid for School-Based Mental Health
In terms of the focus of the guidance and counseling services, the student and
his or her needs are at the forefront. Free counseling for students with mental
health problems will promote their growth and give them the support they
require, including helping them understand themselves and their needs,
solving their problems, coming to realistic conclusions, enhancing their
abilities and skills, and making healthy adjustments to both themselves and
their environment.
PROJECT 05:
Conducting Monthly Orientation on how
to prevent Health risk
Since we all know that people now a days are being controlled by the
technology and no one can stop it. So, implementing a monthly orientation on
how to prevent Health risk or issue will help people to know their limitations
of using such technologies. This program aims people to be a responsible user,
self awareness and to be self disciplined. It is the only way people to be way-
off in health issue.
