 Ang Modyul na ito tungkol sa pagtanggap
natin sa ating kapwa kahit sino pa sila ano
anuman sila sa sa komunidad. Ang kahalagahan
sa mainit na pakikipag-usap at pagtitiwala
dahil sila ay tao na may ngiti at giliw sa
pakikisalamuha.

Araw ng Sabado, matapos ni Andoy mag-almusal at maligo,
lumabas na siya ng bahay at nakipaglaro sa kanyang mga
kaibigan. Ipinakilala ng kalaro kay Andoy si Gab ang bago
nyang kapitbahay anak ng kaibigan ng nanay ni Andoy.
Matatagalan pa ang pag-uusap ng kanilang mga nanay kaya
niyaya ni Andoy na maglaro si Gab. Ipinakilala rin niya si
Gab sa kanyang mga kaibigan.
Anong magandang ugali ang ipinapakita dito ni Andoy sa
bagong kalaro?

 The Parts of a Book

Cover – A protective covering used to bind together the pages of a

book.

Spine - the outside edge of the book where the pages are gathered
and bound. In addition to providing an anchor point for the pages, the
spine provides the hinge action that allows the book's cover and pages
to open and close.

Title Page – This is where it is written the title of the book, the
name of the author and its illustrator; and the publisher.
Table of Contents - Contains list of all the pages. This can really help
if you are looking for certain page.

Text - This is where the content is put. They also call this as the
body of the book. It contains all the information, story, etc. of a book.

Glossary - This is commonly seen at the back end of the book. This is
a list of words used by the author, usually hard words and in glossary
they put the meaning of the words.

Index - This is like the glossary except that it lists the names,
subjects, etc with reference to where they occur. This can also be
found at the end of the book.

How do we subtract numbers when ones digit of the subtrahend
is greater than the ones/tens digit on the minuend?
Subtract the ones. If the subtrahend is greater than the
minuend borrow one ten and add the number in the ones place.
Then, subtract.
(Regrouping in the tens place) Subtract the ones digit first.
Then, subtract the tens. If the subtrahend in the tens place is
greater than the minuend in the tens place borrow one
ten and add the number. Rename the number in the hundreds
place.
