MAKING A ROOM RESERVATION

Client: Hello! Is that the Resident?


Receptionist: Yes, it is. How can I help you, sir?
Client: I want to book a room for the 19th.
Receptionist : Sure. What sort of room do you want?
Client: A single room, please. For 3 days.
Receptionist : Alright. The rent for the room is $60 a day.
Client: Ok. No problems.
Receptionist : I will make the booking, sir. Someone will call you up
from the hotel later and confirm it.
Client: Alright. Thank you.
CHECK IN
Client: Hi. I have a reservation for tonight.
Receptionist: May I have your name, please?
Client: It´s Mark Nelson.
Receptionist : Okay Mr. Nelson according to our records a room for two guests
was booked under your name.
Client: No, hold on. There must be some mistake. I have booked room for one
person only.
Receptionist : Okay, let me check again. Here we are. Your booking is for the 19th
right?
Client: Yes, exactly.
Receptionist : I am sorry, there must have been some confusion. Luckily, we have
a single room available. You can use the room 309.
Client: Thank you.
CHECK IN 2ND EXAMPLE
Receptionist: Welcome to The Resident hotel. How can I help
you?
Client: I have a booking here. For a single room.
Receptionist: Sure. May I have your name?
Client: It´s Mark, Mark Nelson.
Receptionist: Yes, we have your room ready Mr. Nelson. It´s on
the 3rd floor. The porter will guide you.
Client: Thank you. My luggage is in the taxi outside.
Receptionist: I will ask the bell-boy to get it.
Client: Thanks.
CHECK OUT
Client: Hi! I want to check out. Can you please get my bill? I will be at
the reception in about 15 minutes.
Receptionist: Sure, I will have it ready for you when you arrive.
Client: Thank. I appreciate it.
Receptionist: I hope your stay here was comfortable sir.
Client: Yes, it was fine. Thank you.
Receptionist: Welcome. If you have any feedback you can let me know.
Client: Well, my dinner arrived a bit late, but everything else was okay.
Receptionist: I am sorry to hear that sir. I will make sure that doesn´t
happen again.
Client: No problems. I liked this hotel.
REQUESTING HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANCE.
Client: Hi! I am going out and I will be back in the evening. Can
you please ask the housekeeping to clean my room?
Manager: Sure sir. You will have to leave your keys at the
reception.
Client: Okay. That´s not a problem.
Manager: The housekeeping department will have your room
cleaned and the bedding changed.
Client: Thank you.
Manager: You are welcome sir.
