RS has received from BF & posted on the website, the insurance coverage details. BF confirmed they have been renewed for the 2013/14 season & that the details are the same. Item closed. 21-Oct-13: Women 10s substitution: According to one club, it has been agreed as 5 rolling subs vs unlimited rolling subs. BF to look into & revert. 21-Oct-13: Schools Assignr listing of payments: Recommendation for fees be shown for all appropriate games. Matt Rodden is leading the process improvement & fees are now showing in Assignr. Item closed. A motion to accept the Minutes was proposed by Dewi Rowlands & seconded by Malcolm Pratt. Presidents Report By email: Apologies for missing tonights GM. I dont have anything urgent to share & have not received a response to my letter to the HKRFU regarding the COC matter of a coach assaulting a referee. Treasurers Report 7s tickets: You have a week to submit a request & cheque for 7s tickets to me/DS. If you have an opportunity to get tickets elsewhere then I recommend you do so (especially kids tickets as we only get adult tickets). Xmas dinner is on Wed 18 Dec at the POC at 7 pm. 6.1 Assignr: Keep it updated at start of week (Sunday midnight) & keep it updated in case of changes during the week. You can make yourself available for a period of time only (eg, 1330 to1650). Accept the games as soon as you can to allow changes if suddenly unavailable. League & Colt Game Reports: Input results (tries & conversions in comment box) Schools Games: No need to input results but to stop Assignr from sending request for report, create the report & leave it blank. MR to look into putting a Google Map link against the Harrow School location. Wednesday training: Good chance to work on fitness, meet with like minded people & informally discuss the laws, food included for free. MR will monitor informal law discussions & assess whether to introduce formal theory sessions. Game length & other like details: MR to put on the HKRFU & HKSRFUR websites. Swapping Games: When appointed a game & you see another better suited for you & the other person & you are both agreeable to swap then you must first seek permission from MR/BF/PK. Otherwise, you are not authorized to swap games. Player Numbers: For NL2 games & below, the maximum number of players a team can have is 25 If challenged with player #s or names, instruct the Captains to raise it with the union. Kicks at the HV posts with a building site behind: Agree solution to avoid losing rugby balls with both coaches before the beginning of the game. Suggested solutions include: o For tries, kick on the other end immediately after a try or at the end of the game or no kicks at all. o For PKs, see coaches input. Tournaments Professional 7s on 1-Dec-13 for B2 @ SKP for B2+ referees: Interested referees to let me/SH know by EOB Friday 22-Nov-13. Personal Invites to referee: Dawn Isaac reported on receiving a personal invite to the Seibu 10s, a 12 team (8 min each way) tournament. DS/SH advised members that any tournament involving a HKSRFUR is required to go through the Society & that the member must get confirmation of appointment for HKRFU referee insurance coverage. 8.1 By email: Apologies for missing tonights GM. We had a surge in registrations in the past week. We now have 126 registered members in the system, with 45 being social and 81 full members (there is only one active referee we now know of who is not registered or paid up). Anyone not registered before 2nd November will be given lowest priority for HK7s tickets. Dougie will update on those members who are registered but not paid up. Kit Nil ABB

13 AOB 13.1 COC matter of a coach assaulting a referee: JF informed members That the HKRFU sub-committee had met. That the coach had been suspended until Chinese new-year. That this was significantly less that the IRB standards. That the HKSRFUR Excom would be discussing the matter & considering further action. JF informed members that if they are referring the Tai Po Dragons ladies team & see the coach, Alan Ng, they should ask Alan to remove himself from the being around the players. 13.2 DS thanked the members for their contributions to the Philippines Typhoon fundraiser. Meeting ended at 7:52 pm
