A Peek at the Month

of February
Your child should Read at Home (RAH) as a regular part of
homework. RAH logs for the 3nd nine weeks incentive are
due March 13, 2015
Reading: Unit 4: Readers Theater and the emotions of
characters. Students will portray scenes in books through
acting them out. Students will also begin working with
poetry in this unit.
Writing: Unit 4: Persuasive Writing
Math: Unit 4: Measurement and Time. Unit 5: Operations
and Algebraic Thinking. Students will apply properties of
operations to solve word problems.
Social Studies: Historical Figures Lewis and Clark,
Sacagawea, Harriet Tubman, Theodore Roosevelt, George
Washington Carver.
