Very good. I am going to tell you a story
about The Ant and the Grasshopper.
On one fine summer day in a field, a
grasshopper was hopping about in a (Students listen carefully.)
musical mood. An ant passed by bearing
along with great toil an ear of corn he was
talking to the nest.
The grasshopper invited the ant to sit for
a chat with him. But the ant refused saying
that Im storing up food for winter. Why
dont you do the same? asked to the
grasshopper.
Pooh! Why bother about winter? said
the grasshopper; we have got enough food
at present. But the ant went on its way

and continued its toil.


Finally, when winter came, the
grasshopper found itself dying of hunger,
while it saw the ants disturbing corn and
grain from their storage.

ear of corn. The grasshopper invited the ant
for a short conversation but the ant refused
him saying that hes going to store up food
for winter. The ant encouraged the
grasshopper to do the same. The grasshopper
said that they have enough food so that he
dont need to store up. And when the winter
came, the grasshopper is dying of hunger
while he saw the ant getting corn and grain
from their storage.

What is the moral of the story?

Great! We must be prepared for everyday


because we cant say what will happen in
the future. We may encounter some
problems or challenges in life but the most
important is we have faith in ourselves and
also with God.

The moral of the story is to prepare and be


ready for every situation that we may
encounter in our daily lives.
