Reflection: What I learned by creating the signature assignment

By writing the signature assignment I learned several different things, not only related to the Financial
Controller career, but also related to the college life and that will help me in the near and far future.
For starters I became familiarized with different databases while I was able to navigate a few of them.
Another thing that I found very helpful is learning about the APA style of writing. I did not know a lot
about it, and although I am not an expert, I am able to write a paper in said format with more clarity.
Additionally, I learned that the Financial Controller career has a great demand in the workforce and that it
is an attainable position if you meet certain requirements such as having a Masters degree along with
experience on the field. It was interesting to find out that the career also requires personal traits such as
great communication skills, problem solving skills and leadership.
I learned that taking on this career will have challenges that go from the amount of education and
experience needed to the fact that I am a female, I know it will be hard to accomplish but I know if I am
willing to make sacrifices and put my mind and heart in it I will be able to achieve it.
