Preface
This dictionary covers almost all of the words used in Quran in the form they are used.
Meanings of the words are arranged both according to their roots and the way they are
used in Quran.
The features of this dictionary are as follows:
Words are given in the form they are used in Quran.
The signs (declensions) of the last letters of the words are not usually taken into
consideration.
Words are listed in alphabetical order in Arabic.
In general, present tenses of the verbs are given together with their past tenses.
Singular nouns are given with their broken plurals.
In some cases, masculine and feminine forms of nouns are given together.
In some cases, different spellings of one word are given together.
Meanings of the columns are as follows:

- For verbs’ ( ) and ( ) forms, the meaning is given as “That he does, that you
do”. The meanings of such verbs are completed with letters such as ( ) in
front of them. For example:

If the searched word is not found, make the following changes and search again:
Delete the particles and similar letters ( ) at the beginning of the word,
Delete the pronouns ( ) at the end of the word,
Delete the emphasis letters at the beginning ( ) and at the end ( ) of the word.
If it is still not found, replace the letters ( ) and ( ) with ( ) or vice versa and search again.
Abbreviations used in the dictionary:
Fm : Feminine
Pl : Plural
Imp : Imperative
