The Cooperating Teacher – personal and professional

characteristics

When they said that we’re having a cooperating teacher,

I already thought that the teacher is terror and strict but when I
met my cooperating teacher, she is the opposite of the ideas
that I thought.

My cooperating teacher is an approachable and a

motherly teacher. She is approachable in a way that when we
ask for an advice on how to do things, she immediately responds
and gives us effective advices. She always see to it that she
simply explains the things that are needed to be done, in a way
that we better understand her advices. She is motherly because
she acts as our mother in the Junior High Department, she
always see to it that we accomplish the things that we need for
our next teaching demonstrations and she guides us through
saying what to do and how to do the things that we need to do
as we teach. She approaches and talks to us calmly just like
when we had a misunderstanding with the other practice
teachers, she called us, talked to us, asked us questions about
the misunderstanding, and cleared things with us in order for us
not to be falsely accused by others.

For me, she is the best cooperating teacher and the best
model to us and to our students because of her personality and
treatment towards us, she always consider and understands us
when we have bad situations sometimes.
