1. Name all of the things which constitute the solar system.
2. Compare and contrast the characteristics of the different planets.
3. Create a 3-dimensional model of the solar system.
A. Content Standards The learners demonstrate an understanding of the formation of the universe and the solar system
B. Performance Standards The learners shall be able to:
1. Conduct a survey to assess the possible geologic hazards that your community may experience.
C. Learning Competencies The learners demonstrate an understanding of:

At the end of the session, the students should be able to:
1. Solve problems independently involving conversion of units and express their answers in the form of scientific notation.
2. Tell the difference between accuracy and precision.
3. Develop patience in solving problems.
A. Content Standards The learners demonstrate an understanding of...
The effect of instruments on measurements
B. Performance Standards The learners are able to...
Solve, using experimental and theoretical approaches, multi-concept, rich-context problems involving measurement, vectors, motions in 1D, 2D,
and 3D, Newton’s Laws, work, energy, center of mass, momentum, impulse, and collisions
C. Learning Competencies 1. Solve measurement problems involving conversion of units, expression of measurements in scientific notation
2. Differentiate accuracy from precision
II. Content 1. Units
2. Physical Quantities
III. Learning Resources Materials: Chalkboard

IV. Procedure Routine activities such as picking up of pieces of dirt, arranging of chairs and checking of attendance will be conducted.
Let the class do a short recap about the things which were discussed during the previous meeting.
After which, relate the things previously discussed on the topics which will be discussed during the day.
After discussing the concepts, the students will be divided into three groups and they will be tasked to solve problems on the board. The students will be rated both
individually and as a group. Each student will be asked to solve or answer a specific question and if s/he answers it correctly, then s/he will earn a point for her
recitation and a point for his/ her group as well. The group with the most number of points will be declared as the winner.
A wrap up of the things discussed will be conducted before the end of the days’ session.

I. Objectives
A. Content Standards The learner...
Demonstrates understanding of fitness and exercise in optimizing one’s health as a habit; as requisite for physical activity assessment
performance, and as a career opportunity
B. Performance Standards The learner...
Leads fitness events with proficiency and confidence resulting in independent pursuit and in influencing others positively
C. Learning Competencies 1. Distinguishes aerobic from muscle-and bone strengthening activities
II. Content
III. Learning Resources
IV. Procedure Routine activities such as picking up of pieces of dirt, arranging of chairs and checking of attendance will be conducted.
The students will be asked to share the activities they usually do when they exercise.
After which the students will be introduced to the concept of aerobic, muscle-strengthening and bone-strengthening activities. Their mechanisms and differences
will then be further discussed.
To end the lesson during the day, the things they have mentioned earlier during the start of the classes, will be classified by them as to whether they are an example
of aerobic, muscle-strengthening or bone-strengthening exercise.

A short recap about the previous discussion will be done by the students. After the recap, the topic during the day will be integrated or related to that of the
previous one.
A video about the universe will then be played before the start of the discussion. Through this, the students will be able to refresh their minds regarding the concepts
which are included in the topic, solar system.
After the video presentation, each of the components or constituents of the solar system will be further discussed.
If there are clarifications with regards to the discussion, the students will be given the chance to raise their questions or queries in order to be able to correct
misconceptions, if there are any.
A summary or wrap up of the things discussed will be conducted by one of the students in order to size up the discussion made during the day.
As a form of assessment, the students will be asked to create a 3-dimensional model of the solar system.
