I. Brief Context/Perspective of the Activity:

Women Empowerment Seminar is an interactive seminar that is intended

ideally for the wives of junior PAF officers but will also include other wives of PAF
officers and wives of the enlisted personnel. The keynote speaker/s gives focus
on deeper understanding of women’s worth.
Empowerment, in general term, is the ability to be of positive influence to the
growth and development of others. Since PAFOLC has core values translated in
the acronym “BLUE” which stands for “Beautiful in character, inside and out;
“Love our family and one another”; “United in our mission and vision”; “Elegantly
simple and Exemplary in all our ways”, the talk will revolve around these
anchors. The tag-line “PAF Ladies POWER-UPS” will be used to reinforce and
strengthen the audience's active participation and worthwhile experienced.

II. Objectives:
The expected outputs of the activity are the ff:
1. Imbibe the PAFOLC Core Values “BLUE”
2. Define empowerment through the application of “BLUE” core values
3. Identify the qualities of empowered Air Force Lady
4. Be aware of the boundaries as empowered lady
5. Determine the ways for self-improvement and self-care in empowering oneself
