Journal Week 10

Monday (03/09) 9:00am-3:00pm; 6 hrs

On Monday, our forensic interviewer asked me to put together a counseling check-in sheet. She

would use this every time she had a returning patient for them to rank their symptoms from

“improved, no change, worsened” or of course, not applicable. We also had a volunteer from

Georgia College come in and take a tour around the house. Her and Shannon organized clothing

while I helped the tech guy figure out why our door magnets weren’t working.

Tuesday (03/10) 9:00am-4:00pm; 7 hrs

This morning we had our monthly multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meeting. This meeting ran a

little longer than usual because we had a lot of cases on our list to go over. Shannon and I went

to go pick up the Chick-fil-a before the meeting started, and during the meeting, we took notes

on case updates for the forensic interviewer.

Wednesday (03/11) 9:00am-3:00pm; 6 hrs

Shannon and I had some busy work. We had some new pens come in the office, so we had to

unbox and restock them. We also had to put labels on a whole box of cards to cover up some of

the information on each other. It was very tedious, but it got done.

Thursday (03/12) 9:00am-4:00pm; 7 hrs

JoAnna and Christy, one of the nurses, had the Health Sciences Job Expo, so Shannon and I

helped them get some things together for it. We were packing up a suitcase full of brochures,
pens, contact cards, etc. JoAnna had us print out a sign-up sheet that she could bring. When they

got there, they forgot to print out a sign, so I printed one out and brought it up there.

Friday (03/13) 9:00am-12:00pm; 3 hrs

Friday was a short day. This was because John Milledge Academy has been fundraising for GC

Miracle, and they were having an event to celebrate their efforts and to have a reveal of how

much money they raised. I asked JoAnna if I could take a half day so that I could attend, and she

was okay with it.
