Journal Week 10
On Monday, our forensic interviewer asked me to put together a counseling check-in sheet. She
would use this every time she had a returning patient for them to rank their symptoms from
“improved, no change, worsened” or of course, not applicable. We also had a volunteer from
Georgia College come in and take a tour around the house. Her and Shannon organized clothing
while I helped the tech guy figure out why our door magnets weren’t working.
This morning we had our monthly multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meeting. This meeting ran a
little longer than usual because we had a lot of cases on our list to go over. Shannon and I went
to go pick up the Chick-fil-a before the meeting started, and during the meeting, we took notes
Shannon and I had some busy work. We had some new pens come in the office, so we had to
unbox and restock them. We also had to put labels on a whole box of cards to cover up some of
the information on each other. It was very tedious, but it got done.
JoAnna and Christy, one of the nurses, had the Health Sciences Job Expo, so Shannon and I
helped them get some things together for it. We were packing up a suitcase full of brochures,
pens, contact cards, etc. JoAnna had us print out a sign-up sheet that she could bring. When they
got there, they forgot to print out a sign, so I printed one out and brought it up there.
Friday was a short day. This was because John Milledge Academy has been fundraising for GC
Miracle, and they were having an event to celebrate their efforts and to have a reveal of how
